TERRAMUNDI MONEY POT
BLACK & WHITE FIREWORKS
Terramundi Money Pots have been traditionally used in Italy for over 2000 years and their hand thrown design has remained unchanged.
The British Museum houses examples of these ancient money boxes.
Once the first coin is dropped the pot must be fed until full upon which time it must be smashed whilst making a wish. It is customary to replace the pot and spend the money on 'good things'.
Money pots can be used to house a candle or a plant once smashed. The best way to break the money pot is with a hammer and chisel, placing the hammer in the money slot and slowly levering the top off. You can now use is to store sweets, pens, plants, anything you wish.
Terramundi Money Pots are hand thrown in Italy and hand painted in London. They stand between 17cms and 19cms in height and come in an array of beautiful colours and designs.
Each Money Pot contains a separate fortune card and they can hold approx. £200.00 in mixed silver.
